Up to eight travel grants of up to A$250 will be awarded in 2010 to student members of the Australian Society of Herpetologists. Students working in any field of herpetology may apply. The purpose of the award is two-fold: (1) assist students in travel expenses to attend the 2010 ASH conference at Barmera in September; and (2) reward outstanding academic and research performance. Academic merit is the primary criteria for the award. However, travel expenses of the individual applicants will be taken into consideration.

• be a currently enrolled honours, Masters, Graduate Diploma or PhD student at an Australian University
• give a spoken or poster presentation of their research at the 2010 ASH conference

• a brief Curriculum Vitae

All applications must be made on the official application form available via the ASH web site (http://www.australiansocietyofherpetologists.org/Resources.hhtm ). Late applications will NOT be accepted.
