Peter Rawlinson Prize for best PhD presentation
Awarded to the student deemed to have given the best PhD presentation at the Scientific Meeting.
Peter Rawlinson (1943-1991), An Australian herpetologist who described several new species of reptiles, he was also a vigorous environmental campaginer. He died, aged 48 on the island of Anak Krakatau in Indonesia while undertaking fieldwork. Two skinks are also named for him: Ctenotus rawlinsoni and Pseudemoia rawlinsoni
